We are pleased to announce that the IVAS Veterinary Acupuncture Course is being held again in 2020 and is delivered by the Centre for Veterinary Education (CVE), at The University of Sydney. The Australian College of Veterinary Acupuncture (ACVA) will continue to play a key role in the delivery of this course.


The CVE has an extensive background in delivering high quality continuing veterinary education to veterinarians world-wide. Utilising their expertise in content delivery and the latest online education principles and technology, the CVE aims to continue to deliver this outstanding IVAS Veterinary Acupuncture Course, while enhancing the learning experience of the participants.

The ACVA is the only accredited provider of the IVAS certification in Veterinary Acupuncture in this region. Our course is delivered predominantly on-line with a number of practical workshops to give hands-on practice under expert supervision.  Other local courses do not offer the IVAS backing or practical workshops in Geelong.

Despite the CoVid-19 issues our 2020 Australian IVAS course is currently training a large group of new acupuncturists already enthusiastically applying their newly learned skill to diagnose and treat animals and provide an additional wellness strategy for the patient.  Clinics and practices are benefiting from the integration of new skills in acupuncture and TCM diagnosis.
